What PixWipe removes
Every phone photo can carry a precise coordinate, the camera serial, the capture time, and sometimes your name. Most “online EXIF removers” re-draw the image on a canvas and export a softer JPEG. PixWipe walks JPEG markers, PNG chunks, and WebP RIFF blocks and drops only the metadata.
Keep orientation so iPhone photos do not flip. Keep the ICC profile if you care about color. Everything else — EXIF, XMP, IPTC, comments, C2PA-style APP segments we can see — goes away.
